About us!

Soaping is an ancient practice dating back 5,000 years with recipes from Egypt, Ancient Greece, and Rome.  Creating soaps the traditional, old fashion way means that the soap is made in small batches with love, attention to detail, and with the highest level of quality.

Traditional, cold process soap is cured 4-6 weeks and then hand-cut.  This means each bar of soap is slightly unique in color, size, shape, and weight.

There is so much that goes into creating an excellent bar of soap that is conditioning, cleansing, hard and creates amazing lather.

Each soap batch is poured by hand, made with as many organic ingredients as I can acquire, are scented with essential oils or phthalate free fragrances, and are free from animal fat, palm oil, sodium laurel sulfate, petroleum by-products, parabens, phthalates, and artificial preservatives.  The colorants are from mineral based micas, clays and plants.  And I use oils that are known to be good for your skin (i.e. coconut oil, olive oil, castor oil, apricot oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, etc.).

As a devoted student & teacher of yoga for over 20 years, as well as a retired therapeutic massage therapist, I understand that our skin is our largest organ and can absorb what we put on it.  That is why I wanted to create products that are nourishing, gentle and cleansing.

I hope you enjoy trying one of my bars and feeling the difference.

Thank you!
